Project aims

The second phase of the project “One school, many languages” SMS 2.0 started in 2019. The project aims to:

  • promote the perception of diversity as an enrichment;
  • increase language awareness of pupils and teachers;
  • establish multilingualism as an educational goal.

The linguistic heterogeneity that can be found in every type of school and at every level is seen as potential for collaborative and reciprocal learning, and as a basis for developing further existing school and lesson concepts.
